Back To Normal Posting

So now that the mystery is coming to an end... and hasn't been that climactic yet... I guess I could blog about my life.

So I have graduated, begun rehearsals, moved into the basement, attended my best friend's bridal shower, and just had a nice graduation dinner with family and family friends.

All very nice stuff happening. I have been auditioning for any and everything I can. Mostly for the experience and because I actually can now! So far I have been to 4 auditions. STATS: 3 callbacks, 1 TBA, and 1 show. So far, so good. At least I felt pretty solid about my work and myself at all of them. I actually love auditioning now, which is a good thing, considering I have to do it a lot.

Everyone keeps asking how I feel about graduating. To be honest, it hasn't hit me yet. It really felt right to be graduating now. I also feel that I am very lucky to be busy with a great day job and a great show to work on for the whole summer. When I have nothing to do, and I am not in school, and all of my friends are at least 20 minutes away... I will be sad. I will be depressed, and I will try to move to the city to be around people. The Fall is going to suck. It's gonna suck hard.

I am so thankful for my family and my friends' support. Everyone I speak to is congratulating me on following my passion and for pursuing the arts more than graduating. I am so lucky to come from a supportive and liberal community. Yeah Jews!

Basically, I am feeling very grateful. .. so thanks everyone.

Chicks Are Crazy

I will let Michelle blog to the world about her mastery detective work. Let me just say that I am in shock. I thought, for sure, this was a mutual friend playing a joke on us because it was executed so poorly. It was not, however. It was a person who wanted information about Michelle in a personal way.

I can't believe for a second that this person wouldn't think:

1.) Michelle and I wouldn't talk to each other.
2.) Michelle and I wouldn't figure out that the same random person was lying to us about why they contacted us. (i.e. she liked my screen name, and she met Michelle at a theatre conference).

Seriously, this was like middle school. Like I said initially, I thought it was one of my campers, which means 2nd-6th grade.

The lies piled up, and it was clear from her second sentence that she was lying. Did she really think we thought she was for real? If so, then I really feel bad for her. To be honest, I think she did.

I'll link to Michelle if she posts more about who, and the crazy circle of lies and hacking that were involved. All I know is this was intensely insane.

Mystery Update

So this person IMed Michelle tonight. It has to be theatergrrrrrrrl who did it mistakenly under her real screen name. They write exactly the same. Seriously, this person sucks as a stalker. I decided to IM her and confuse her a bit.

This chick does not know with whom she is dealing. This 7th grade-esque AIM battle has begun.

Spiderman 3

I was excited to see this movie. I liked the first one, and the second was pretty good too. This one looked so awesome... evil Spiderman! Get out, too cool. I was so sad to hear people really didn't like it. Even my friend Zach (on the right) who worked on the movie wasn't a huge fan. Regardless, I wanted to see it.

So, I liked it. It was everything you would expect from a Spiderman movie. I can see where people didn't like it, though. The beginning is slow with lots of "character development." Now this stuff would have been great if the script didn't suck, and if the actors (look at 2:20 or so into it) actually wanted to be making a third Spiderman movie.

The ending was a bit lame, and the dancing and singing could have been cut for sure, but overall I got what they were going for with it. Anyway, if you like Spiderman it's worth a home rental one night.
